Head WINTER LUGGAGE RANGE renewal
TO COVER ALL PRACTICES OF ALPINE SKIING AND FREERIDE
REQUEST
The Winter Sport department of the HEAD brand has commissioned our studio to develop all of their 4 luggage ranges (RACE / WOMEN / ALLRIDE / KORE). The graphic approach to luggage was essential in our approach, and in the continuity of the brand's alpine guidelines.
METHOD
After a first meeting in Kennelbach with the HEAD Winter team, in order to fully integrate the particularities of each range, we started by monitoring the competition and trends in sports luggage. This allowed us to be able to explore different models and graphics, on a single element of each range to begin with, which we presented again on the premises of the brand. Following this, once the directions were validated, we extended the concept to the remaining bags in order to produce the specsheets necessary for the production of the first prototypes.
RESULTS
We are proud to have contributed, with an emblematic partner in the industry, to a coherent range. This was notably possible through a collaborative and iterative approach to the project.

design of a new freeski backpack identity
NEW LOOK TO BE IN TUNE WITH EXPECTANCY OF A DEMANDING PRACTICE
REQUEST
In parallel with the graphic redesign of the RACE, ALLRIDE, WOMEN and KORE ranges, HEAD asked us to explore new constructions for 3 types of bag: The Backpack Freeski, the DuffleBag and the SkiBag.
METHOD
Following the analysis of the first phase and discussions with the HEAD Ski design team in order to determine the functional points specific to each type of bag, we drafted the first concepts that we finalized on Illustrator in order to respect the dimensions and graphics developed in parallel. Once presented during our second meeting in Austria, we were able to select a direction but also to think all together on different alternatives to push the concept as well as possible.
