DESIGN OF AN ULTRA LIGHT SKI TOURING BACKPACK

The iconic freeski brand from Chamonix trusted us, with the design and development of their new technical backpack. Ultra-light and customizable, able to carry specific mountain equipment such as crampons/ice axes ; the challenge was also to apply the unique Black Crows brand's DNA, while making this product visually distinctive.

TECHPACK design

We went through several prototyping loops, to achieve the perfect compromise between a good-looking volume and its functionality. We had to facilitate dialogue between the Black Crows team and the prototype maker, by delivering detailed technical documents, outlining the construction, and taking into account feedback from initial usage tests and industrial constraints.
