LOOK GEOTREKKING HYBRID PEDAL RANGE

LOOK wishes to strengthen its position as a leading brand in the cycle pedals market, by creating a new product more suited to the urban bicycle market.

  •  METHOD

We used a volume predefined by LOOK R&D to shape the product. As the pedal has an automatic side, and a flat side, the overall formal research of the product has been combined with a search for patterns allowing a good grip of the shoe for people without shoes for automatic pedals. On the other hand, the sides of the pedal must integrate, as an option, a lighting module to increase the safety of night trips in the city.

  • RESULTS

The Geotrekking range, made up of 4 products to cover a wider range of practices, was presented at Eurobike 2019 and received a very good reception. In particular, it has helped to expand the brand's reputation and its know-how in the electric bicycle and urban commuting market.
