improve the après ski experience with salomon

  • REQUEST

Salomon wants to formalize bold new technologies, making it easier before and after skiing for beginner users. In search of new markets, the main issue of this study was to assess the stylistic potential of new technical advances.

  •  METHOD

Based on 3D skins, our team carried out an exploration phase, in the form of a sketchbook. The use of the identity codes of Salomon products piloted all the solutions offered. The very significant technical constraints related to the ski boot framed the 2D adjustment phase of the proposals, while respecting strong design intentions and the expectations of the design manager winter.

  • RESULTS

A shoe that highlights the promises of comfort and intuitiveness. The 3D modeling, realistic rendering and mock-up phase enabled Salomon's design and marketing teams to assess the concept, both aesthetically and technically. A very enriching experience for Kairn.
