Ski touring in the mountains requires carrying specific equipment: crampons, ice axes, rope, and skis.
Making gear that is lightweight yet durable in all terrain conditions is therefore a major challenge.

The goal was to give the product a unique identity and brand identity, moving beyond the market’s archetypal forms while incorporating practical and technical constraints.

It took several rounds of prototyping to achieve the perfect balance between elegant form and functionality.
Our mission was to facilitate communication between the Black Crows design team and the prototyper by providing technical documents detailing the construction, incorporating feedback from initial usability tests, and addressing manufacturing constraints.
