Mondraker F-Podium
The ultimate bike for the Cross-Country World Cups
Express performance.
Mondraker’s design language has been incorporated to ensure the bike fits seamlessly into a family of easily recognizable models. Clean, sharp lines, extreme lightness, and harmony between the front and rear triangles were key to the design of the new F-Podium. No compromises were made at the expense of riding performance, reliability, or maintainability.
Validation through rapid prototyping.
We were responsible for developing a prototype to validate its aesthetic and functional aspects, the fit and finish of the components, and so on.
The mockup review is a crucial step in our process for validating the overall design, with tangible components in hand or in plain view. At this stage, all the frame components have been designed, modeled, and 3D-printed.
Industrial development.
We handled the 3D modeling of the frame and its adaptation into four sizes, taking great care to ensure a harmonious design across all sizes.
Kairn Bike Design Lab also explored various technical solutions for manufacturing the linkage, with the aim of maximizing the weight-to-stiffness-to-manufacturing-cost ratio.
A successful collaboration.
Starting at the end of the 2023 season, the F-Podium will be ridden by Mondraker team pro riders Ondrej Cink and Rebecca Henderson in the World Cup. As a former XC World Cup champion, Henderson is determined to return to the world’s top 5 in 2024 with this new F-Podium.
